SealteQ Vastgoedonderhoud, a leading property maintenance company based in Stadskanaal, Netherlands backed by Quadrum Capital, has completed the acquisition of Lensen Schilder en Glasservice, a Meppel-based firm with over 30 years of experience in interior and exterior painting, glazing, wood rot repair, and wall finishing. This strategic move strengthens SealteQ’s Vastgoedonderhoud division by integrating Lensen’s skilled workforce and established customer base in North and Central Netherlands.
Lensen Schilder en Glasservice has built a strong regional reputation through its comprehensive services in construction painting and maintenance. The company’s three directors—Henk Benjamins, Egbert Kolk, and Paul Snijder—chose to join SealteQ as they approach retirement age, prioritizing the future security and well-being of their employees. They emphasized that daily operations and customer service will continue unchanged, with Lensen maintaining its trusted brand identity within the SealteQ Group.
Joost Coolegem, divisional director of SealteQ Vastgoedonderhoud, highlighted the value Lensen brings: “With over 30 years of expertise and a solid regional position, Lensen complements our existing portfolio and enhances our ability to serve clients in the region.” SealteQ’s Vastgoedonderhoud division already includes companies such as Zandstra Totaalonderhoud, Cor Buist, Mulder Schilders, and Schilderwerken de Kruyf. The addition of Lensen further consolidates SealteQ’s market presence and technical capabilities.
Martin van der Leest, CEO of SealteQ, noted that the acquisition aligns with the company’s growth strategy: “Our integrated approach offers clients a comprehensive range of maintenance, renovation, and sustainability services, while preserving the autonomy of each business unit.” The deal was structured as a full acquisition, though financial terms were not disclosed.
Industry trends show increasing consolidation in property maintenance and facility management sectors, driven by demand for integrated service offerings and operational efficiencies. SealteQ’s expanded footprint in North and Central Netherlands positions it to capitalize on these trends, offering cross-selling opportunities and leveraging shared procurement and administrative resources.
Integration plans focus on maintaining Lensen’s company culture and employee satisfaction, ensuring continuity of service quality and customer relationships. The existing directors will remain actively involved in the business to support a smooth transition and ongoing development.
Looking ahead, SealteQ aims to strengthen its competitive position by combining Lensen’s regional expertise with its operational infrastructure. This acquisition marks a significant step toward sustainable growth and enhanced service delivery in the property maintenance market.
