Tenzing-backed DJH Group has acquired Loucas Accountants, a well-established accounting and business consultancy firm based in Kent, UK. This acquisition, announced on April 20, 2026, follows DJH’s 2025 purchase of McBrides and represents the group’s continued strategic expansion in the South East region of England.
Loucas Accountants, founded in 1974, has grown from a single-desk practice into a multi-location firm with approximately 50 employees. The firm has built a strong reputation over five decades by serving owner-managed businesses across Maidstone, Kent, and Brighton. More than 25% of Loucas’ work originates from client referrals, underscoring its trusted relationships and local expertise.
While the financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, DJH Group has acquired 100% ownership of Loucas, integrating its team and client base into the broader DJH network. This transaction enhances DJH’s existing presence in the South East, complementing its Bexley office and expanding its reach to key entrepreneurial hubs.
Scott, a senior executive at DJH Group, highlights the strategic rationale: “When we made our first acquisition in 2025, we made it clear the South East was a region we intended to grow in, and that’s exactly what we are doing. The area is emerging as one of the most entrepreneurial counties in the UK, with growing demand for high-quality business advice and consultancy.”
He adds, “Loucas is the type of practice we look for: a 50-year strong track record, an expert team that has built something genuinely special, and a firm that clients trust and recommend. Their local coverage perfectly complements our existing operations, giving us a broad, connected South East presence.”
Athos Louca, Managing Director of Loucas Accountants, expressed optimism about the partnership: “Joining DJH gives our clients and team a wider platform while preserving more than 50 years of relationship-first culture. I’m excited about what this partnership means for our clients across Kent and the South East.”
The acquisition aligns with DJH Group’s broader growth strategy, marking its 20th acquisition since 2020 and expanding its workforce to approximately 800 employees across the UK and Ireland. The group emphasizes delivering national resources combined with locally led advice to support clients beyond compliance, helping them overcome challenges and scale their businesses.
From a market perspective, this deal strengthens DJH’s competitive position in the South East, particularly in Kent and Brighton, where entrepreneurial activity is robust. The integration of Loucas’ referral-driven client base and local expertise is expected to enhance DJH’s advisory and consultancy offerings tailored to owner-managed businesses.
Operational synergies include consolidating back-office functions, sharing technology platforms, and streamlining multi-location operations. DJH also anticipates improved talent retention through expanded career development opportunities within the enlarged group.
However, integration challenges remain, such as aligning corporate cultures while maintaining Loucas’ relationship-first approach, integrating IT systems, and ensuring client service continuity. DJH acknowledges the importance of retaining key talent and managing potential risks related to economic fluctuations affecting the regional business environment.
Looking ahead, DJH plans to leverage this acquisition to deepen client relationships, accelerate client acquisition through Loucas’ strong referral network, and capitalize on the South East’s entrepreneurial momentum. The group remains focused on combining national scale with local expertise to deliver comprehensive business consultancy services.
