Glampings.com Acquires Conservio.com to Expand African Safari Offerings

Glampings.com, a premier online platform for luxury camping experiences in Europe, has acquired Conservio.com, a well-established booking platform focused on nature and safari accommodations in Southern Africa. The acquisition, announced on July 22, 2026, adds over 1,000 curated lodges, eco-retreats, and campsites primarily in South Africa and Namibia to Glampings.com’s portfolio.

While the financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, Glampings.com has acquired 100% ownership of Conservio.com, marking a full integration of the platform into its operations. Existing bookings on Conservio.com will continue uninterrupted under the new ownership.

Glampings.com was founded by Sven Schuurmans and Tom Groenen, who bring over 30 years of combined experience in travel, online marketing, and e-commerce. The platform currently offers more than 4,500 luxury camping accommodations across 18 European countries. Supported by investors including Quantum Leap Capital, Mike de Boer, Andre Grimbergen, Hélène Kolster, and Bright Business, Glampings.com has completed multiple funding rounds to fuel its growth.

Conservio.com specializes in nature-based travel accommodations, offering a curated selection of over 1,000 lodges and campsites in Southern Africa. The platform emphasizes sustainable tourism and partnerships with local accommodation providers, catering to travelers seeking immersive safari and eco-friendly experiences.
