Leaseweb, a prominent cloud services and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) provider based in the Netherlands, has acquired the Broadcom VMware white label VCSP customer base from ITQ, a European IT services company specializing in hybrid cloud and digital workspace technologies. The acquisition includes 51 VCSP customers, representing approximately 35,000 cores, which will transition to Leaseweb’s VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) platform. The deal was announced on July 21, 2026.

This transaction increases Leaseweb’s total core count to 65,000, solidifying its status as the largest VMware Pinnacle Partner in the Netherlands and enhancing its footprint within the Broadcom partner ecosystem. The acquired VCSP partners, formerly operating under the Broadcom VMware Advantage Partner program, will continue marketing their services under Leaseweb’s authorized Broadcom VMware VCSP Pinnacle Partner status.

Leaseweb’s Pinnacle Partner designation allows it to transact directly with Broadcom, providing partners with a fully authorized and sustainable platform for their VMware businesses. Additionally, ITQ will maintain its role as a knowledge partner, offering VMware advisory and implementation expertise to support customers during migration and deployment phases.

Leaseweb and ITQ are also collaborating to engage global Broadcom VMware VCSP partners who are not renewing contracts, offering them a supported transition to Leaseweb’s Pinnacle Partner infrastructure. Under this partnership, Leaseweb supplies VMware VCF 9.x infrastructure, while ITQ contributes its industry-leading VMware expertise.

Founded in 1997, Leaseweb operates 28 data centers across 10 countries, delivering sovereign hybrid cloud, content delivery network (CDN), and managed services to a diverse client base ranging from SMEs to large enterprises and public sector organizations. Leaseweb emphasizes data sovereignty and operational control, participating directly in the European IPCEI-CIS innovation program to advance cloud and edge infrastructure development.

ITQ, established in 2001, supports organizations across Europe in adopting hybrid cloud, cloud-native, and digital workspace technologies. With offices in multiple European countries, ITQ designs and manages scalable multi-cloud platforms, focusing on secure, reliable infrastructure for traditional and AI-driven applications.

Lex Boost, Co-CEO of Leaseweb, stated, “This announcement represents an important step in the expansion of our Broadcom VMware Cloud Foundation business and reinforces our long-term commitment to organisations building their future on VMware. We are delighted to welcome ITQ’s VCSP partners to the Leaseweb platform and look forward to supporting their continued growth with enterprise-grade infrastructure and direct access to Broadcom through our Pinnacle Partner status.”

Francisco Perez van Oord, Founder and President of ITQ, added, “Leaseweb’s Broadcom VMware VCSP Pinnacle Partner status and enterprise-grade infrastructure make it a natural fit for our white label VCSP customers. It also allows us to continue supporting them with our VMware expertise while providing a trusted platform for long-term growth.”

The acquisition strategically expands Leaseweb’s VMware Cloud Foundation platform capabilities and customer base, enabling cross-selling opportunities and operational efficiencies through consolidated infrastructure management. The deal also intensifies competitive dynamics in the European cloud services market, as Leaseweb’s enhanced core capacity and Pinnacle Partner status position it strongly against other VMware service providers.

Looking ahead, Leaseweb and ITQ face integration challenges including seamless migration of customers, alignment of operational processes, and maintaining partner relationships under the new platform. However, the partnership’s combined expertise and infrastructure are expected to drive growth and innovation in VMware cloud services across Europe.
