Sullivan Street Partners (SSP) has completed the acquisition of Mi Hub, a Midlands-based global uniform solutions business, from private equity investor LDC. The deal was announced on April 27, 2026. The transaction concludes LDC’s six-year investment in Mi Hub, during which the company expanded its international footprint and strengthened its market position.
Mi Hub operates through four brands: Dimensions, Alexandra, and Yaffy in the UK, alongside Affinity in the US. The business supplies ready-to-wear, bespoke, and technical uniforms to a diverse client base, including major retailers and airlines, serving over five million uniformed workers worldwide.
Mi Hub is a highly attractive platform business with strong recurring characteristics, including long-term customer relationships, a substantial contracted revenue base and differentiated operational infrastructure. The business ships more than 20 million garments annually and has an annual turnover of £170m. It serves a broad range of end markets, with a particularly strong position in bespoke uniforms in the UK.
LDC initially backed Mi Hub in 2019 following a corporate carve-out from US-based Tailored Brands. Since then, Mi Hub has pursued significant growth initiatives, including the acquisition of Affinity Apparel in 2022 and the launch of Mi Hub Canada in 2026, further expanding its North American presence.
Throughout LDC’s ownership, Mi Hub enhanced its management team, promoting Hayley Brooks from Managing Director of the Dimensions brand to CEO in 2022. LDC’s support included operational restructuring in the UK and US, implementation of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and strategic guidance to drive growth.
Mi Hub has also demonstrated a strong commitment to sustainability, achieving its 2030 carbon reduction target five years early and earning industry recognitions such as the EcoVadis Silver Medal, Achilles Silver, and a CDP B rating for climate performance. The company’s Royal Warrant of Appointment to the Royal Household was renewed in 2024, underscoring its reputation for quality and service.
Hayley Brooks, CEO of Mi Hub, commented, “Our partnership with LDC has been transformational. They backed our vision to build a truly international uniform solutions business and supported us every step of the way, from our expansion into North America to building out our senior leadership team. LDC’s patient capital approach gave us the runway to invest in the right areas for long-term success, whether that was technology or our people. We’re now perfectly positioned to begin our next chapter with SSP as we continue to serve our global client base.”
David Bains, Partner and Head of the East Midlands and East of England at LDC, added, “Mi Hub’s journey over the past six years has been exceptional and we’re proud to have supported its transformation from an East Midlands business to an international player serving major clients across the globe. Hayley is an inspirational leader who has been instrumental to the business’s success, and her team have executed brilliantly on an ambitious international growth strategy. We wish them every success as they continue their journey in the years ahead.”
SSP’s acquisition of Mi Hub is expected to create synergies by leveraging Mi Hub’s expanded North American footprint and sustainability credentials. The deal aims to accelerate growth through cross-selling opportunities, operational efficiencies, and product innovation focused on bespoke and technical uniform solutions.
Industry observers note that this transaction strengthens Mi Hub’s position as a leading global uniform solutions provider, increasing competitive pressure within the sector and potentially accelerating consolidation trends. Key integration challenges include aligning UK and US operations, maintaining client service levels, and integrating ERP systems without disruption.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. LDC has a strong track record in business services, having invested £671 million across 16 companies in the past decade. The firm’s exit from Mi Hub reflects its strategy of supporting growth-oriented businesses before transitioning ownership to partners positioned for the next phase of expansion.
Looking ahead, Mi Hub under SSP ownership is poised to deepen its market penetration in North America and enhance its sustainability-focused product offerings, continuing to serve a global client base with tailored uniform solutions.
