XPartners Group, a leading European engineering and design consulting group backed by Axcel, has expanded its footprint in the Swedish infrastructure and construction consultancy market by acquiring Jezierski & Fors. The Malmö-headquartered firm, founded in 2015, specializes in project management, structural engineering, scanning, 3D modelling, and construction health and safety coordination.

Jezierski & Fors employs over 25 specialists and generates annual revenues just above SEK 35 million. The acquisition terms and deal value were not disclosed. The company operates from two offices in Malmö and Solna, serving clients primarily in infrastructure, residential, and commercial real estate sectors.

XPartners comprises more than 70 entrepreneur-led companies with over 2,000 professionals advising clients across infrastructure, buildings, energy, and environmental projects. The group reports pro forma annual revenues exceeding SEK 4 billion and is majority employee-owned, with private equity backing from Axcel.

According to the Managing Director of XPartners Sweden, “Jezierski & Fors is a strong specialist company with a relevant service offering in several areas where we continue to see solid demand. Their expertise complements our group well and further strengthens our position in infrastructure, residential and commercial real estate alike. We also see strong potential for collaboration with other companies within XPartners.”

The CEO of Jezierski & Fors added, “We have built Jezierski & Fors with a focus on quality, long-term client relationships and a clear specialist profile. Becoming part of XPartners feels like a natural next step for us. We gain a platform for continued development, new opportunities for collaboration and access to a broader context, while continuing to run the business with the same commitment and close client relationships.”

The acquisition enhances XPartners’ service portfolio by integrating Jezierski & Fors’ advanced scanning and 3D modelling capabilities alongside its existing project management and structural engineering services. This integration is expected to facilitate cross-selling opportunities and attract new clients in infrastructure and real estate sectors.

Industry trends show increasing demand for specialist engineering consultancies that combine technical expertise with digital tools such as 3D modelling and scanning. XPartners’ move aligns with broader consolidation trends in the engineering and design consulting market, where firms seek scale and complementary capabilities to compete for larger, integrated infrastructure projects.

Financial details such as valuation multiples or funding structure were not disclosed. However, the acquisition is anticipated to generate operational synergies through shared administrative functions, consolidated procurement, and enhanced collaboration across specialist teams.

Looking ahead, XPartners plans to integrate Jezierski & Fors’ operations while preserving its specialist identity and client relationships. The group aims to leverage combined expertise to improve service quality and expand its market share in Sweden’s infrastructure and construction consultancy sectors.

Regulatory approvals were not mentioned, suggesting a smooth transaction process. The acquisition underscores XPartners’ strategic focus on strengthening its platform through targeted acquisitions that complement its existing capabilities and geographic reach.
