paraDIGMA groep, backed by German-based private equity firm Castik Capital, has entered into an agreement to acquire 2grip, a certified occupational health service provider operating from Nijmegen and Venlo in the Netherlands. The acquisition, announced on July 31, 2026, marks a strategic step in paraDIGMA groep’s expansion plan to broaden its regional footprint and deepen its expertise in occupational health, prevention, and sustainable employability.

The deal involves the full acquisition of 2grip, although financial terms have not been disclosed. The transaction remains subject to approval by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (Nederlandse Zorgautoriteit), a regulatory prerequisite for completion.

paraDIGMA groep is a recognized player in the occupational health services sector, focusing on supporting employers and employees with health management and sustainable work participation. 2grip has established a strong presence in the South and East Netherlands, known for its high-quality services, pragmatic approach, and entrepreneurial culture. Founded by Mark Schulz, Karen van der Vliet, and Stephan van Houtem, 2grip has developed a distinctive service model where case managers collaborate closely with company doctors to provide advisory support tailored to employers’ needs.

The acquisition aims to combine paraDIGMA groep’s existing capabilities with 2grip’s complementary expertise and regional reach. According to Reiant Mulder, CEO of paraDIGMA groep, “With the planned integration of 2grip, we strengthen our position as a leading partner in sustainable employability. Our organizations share the same vision and complement each other well. By pooling our knowledge, expertise, and regional presence, we create greater value for our clients and enhance our ability to support employers and employees sustainably.”

2grip’s founders echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the alignment in vision and the opportunities the partnership offers. They highlighted the potential to maintain 2grip’s culture of quality and personal involvement while benefiting from paraDIGMA groep’s scale and expertise to further develop services.

The combined entity will offer clients access to a broader network of professionals, including company doctors, psychologists, labor experts, vitality specialists, trainers, and career advisors. This expanded expertise is expected to enhance service quality and enable further investment in innovation, digitalization, and future-proof occupational health solutions.

Industry observers note that this acquisition reflects a broader trend of consolidation in the occupational health services market, driven by increasing demand for integrated, preventive, and sustainable workforce health management. The deal strengthens paraDIGMA groep’s competitive position in the South and East Netherlands, regions where 2grip has built strong client relationships.

Operational synergies are anticipated through the integration of 2grip’s case manager-led advisory model with paraDIGMA groep’s existing frameworks, streamlining client management and service delivery. Cost efficiencies may arise from consolidating administrative functions and sharing infrastructure in overlapping regions.

Challenges remain in aligning organizational cultures and ensuring a smooth client transition to maintain service continuity. Regulatory compliance will also be closely monitored during integration.

Looking ahead, paraDIGMA groep plans to leverage the combined expertise to develop innovative occupational health solutions and scale preventive and sustainable employability programs nationally. The acquisition positions the group to better meet evolving employer and employee needs in the Dutch labor market.
