Atlan IT Acquires Code54 to Expand Cloud-Edge and Cybersecurity Expertise

Atlan IT, an established IT and cybersecurity company based in Eindhoven, has acquired Code54, a software development firm known for its expertise in Cloud-Edge solutions. The acquisition, announced on May 1, 2026, effective retroactively from January 1, 2026, marks a strategic move to bolster Atlan IT’s capabilities and market presence in the evolving technology landscape.

Code54, with over 25 years of operational history—14 of which under its current name—was founded by Robert Haerkens, who has now transferred ownership to Atlan IT to ensure the company’s continuity and future growth. The deal involves a full acquisition, with Atlan IT taking 100% ownership of Code54. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Atlan IT brings 28 years of industry experience and a team of more than 20 specialists. The company’s established cybersecurity services complement Code54’s software development expertise, particularly in the Cloud-Edge domain. This integration is expected to create significant synergies by combining Atlan IT’s cybersecurity offerings with Code54’s innovative Cloud-Edge solutions.

Jeffrey Verbeek, General Director of Atlan IT, and Danique Leijssenaar, Commercial Director, have been introduced as the new leadership contacts for the combined entity. They emphasize the strategic importance of the acquisition in enhancing Atlan IT’s service portfolio and scaling operations.
