Fidicon has expanded its network of independent accounting firms by bringing ReVap Accountants B.V. into its platform. The announcement, made on October 28, 2026, marks the second addition following the earlier integration of Dijksterhuis Accountants- en Advieskantoor B.V. Fidicon’s platform focuses on serving small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the Netherlands.

ReVap Accountants, based in Best, provides accounting, administrative services, payroll and personnel administration, and fiscal advice tailored to regional SME clients. The firm is recognized for its personal, straightforward approach and long-standing client relationships. Under the new arrangement, ReVap will continue operating under its own name and maintain its existing team and working methods. However, it will gain access to Fidicon’s technology infrastructure, economies of scale, and support in talent acquisition.

While the financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, the strategic rationale centers on combining ReVap’s local market presence with Fidicon’s platform-driven scale and technology capabilities. Niek Cuperus of Strikwerda Investments, affiliated with Fidicon, highlighted the importance of preserving ReVap’s distinct client-focused approach while leveraging technology to enhance service delivery. “ReVap is a well-managed firm with loyal clients and a clear regional identity. We aim to strengthen that personal approach within Fidicon and look forward to advancing a phase where technology allows accountants to focus more on their clients,” he said.

Fidicon’s platform model unites independent accounting firms that retain entrepreneurial autonomy while collaborating on investments in automation, artificial intelligence, human resources, and service diversification. This approach aims to keep accountants close to their clients while benefiting from shared resources and innovation.

The acquisition aligns with broader industry trends where accounting firms consolidate to achieve scale, improve technology adoption, and expand service offerings. Fidicon’s integration of ReVap enhances its footprint in the Best region and broadens its portfolio to include payroll and HR advisory services alongside traditional accounting and tax consulting.

Operational synergies include shared investments in automation and AI tools, centralized administrative support, and enhanced talent management. These efficiencies are expected to improve client retention and enable cross-selling of services across Fidicon’s platform. However, challenges remain in maintaining ReVap’s brand identity and client relationships while integrating new technology and aligning operational processes.

Competitors in the Dutch SME accounting market may face increased pressure to consolidate or invest in similar platform models to remain competitive. Fidicon’s strategy reflects an acceleration of industry consolidation driven by technology and client service innovation.

Looking ahead, Fidicon plans to support ReVap’s smooth adoption of platform resources and foster collaboration among its network of firms. The combined entity aims to deliver enhanced value to SME clients through improved technology-enabled services and a broader service offering.
