Futureproof Group, backed by MKB Fonds, announces the acquisition of IT Pro, a Nuenen-based IT services company specializing in managed IT services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and modern workplace services. This strategic move strengthens Futureproof Group’s presence in the Brainport region, a key innovation hub in the Netherlands.
While the financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, the acquisition includes the transfer of IT Pro’s business operations and client relationships. Harm Dovens, who has led IT Pro since co-founder Christ van den Akker’s retirement in June, will continue as managing director post-acquisition, ensuring leadership continuity.
IT Pro serves small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), healthcare providers, and public sector organizations. The company has built a strong regional reputation through its technical expertise, personalized service, and long-term client relationships. Futureproof Group plans to integrate IT Pro with its existing subsidiaries, including Libra and Novion, to leverage complementary expertise in cloud, cybersecurity, business solutions, and IT consultancy.
