Van Moer Logistics Acquires Ziegler Belgium Air Freight Division

Van Moer Logistics has acquired the air freight division of Ziegler Belgium, marking a significant expansion of its forwarding services. The transaction, announced on June 1, 2026, integrates Ziegler’s certified IATA freight forwarding operations at Brussels Airport into Van Moer’s existing logistics platform.

The deal value has not been disclosed. Van Moer Logistics will continue all air freight activities under its management, ensuring a seamless transition and uninterrupted service for customers. This acquisition adds air freight to Van Moer’s comprehensive logistics offering, which already includes road, rail, inland waterways, and sea freight transport.

Founded over 35 years ago, Van Moer Logistics has grown into a major logistics group with more than 2,200 employees, operating 500 trucks, 15 inland vessels, and managing 850,000 square meters of warehouse space across more than 40 locations in Belgium. Ziegler Belgium’s air freight division is a recognized player in the international air freight sector, operating as a certified IATA freight forwarder at Brussels Airport.
