Klimax Installatiebedrijven expands in ’s-Hertogenbosch by acquiring Installatiebedrijf Lommers en Gasservice Brabant, enhancing HVAC and gas services.

Klimax Installatiebedrijven, a family-owned installation technology firm based in ’s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands, has completed the acquisition of Installatiebedrijf Lommers en Gasservice Brabant. This strategic move, announced on June 5, 2026, brings together five well-known local brands under the Klimax umbrella: Call Air Klimaattechniek, Van Grinsven loodgieters- en installatiebedrijf, Gasservice Brabant, Installatiebedrijf Lommers, and Klimax Installatie Services.

Although the financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, the acquisition integrates installation and gas service businesses that will continue to operate independently under their existing names. The deal was supported by BBN Corporate Finance, with legal counsel from Banning Advocaten and advisory services from Huijbregts Notarissen & Adviseurs.

Klimax aims to become the leading installer in the ’s-Hertogenbosch area, serving both commercial and private clients. The company emphasizes the energy transition as a core strategic focus, offering services ranging from new construction and renovation to ongoing maintenance across multiple disciplines including HVAC, plumbing, and gas installations.

By consolidating expertise and resources, Klimax expects to create operational efficiencies and expand its market reach. Synergies include cross-selling opportunities across the combined client base, bundled service offerings for construction projects, and shared procurement benefits. The integration also targets improved scheduling, workforce optimization, and standardized service delivery processes.

Installatiebedrijf Lommers and Gasservice Brabant will maintain their brand identities and operational autonomy, allowing Klimax to preserve the strong local reputations of each entity while leveraging group-level strengths. This approach aims to balance cultural alignment among family-owned businesses with the benefits of scale.

The acquisition reflects broader industry trends toward consolidation in the installation technology sector, driven by increasing demand for sustainable and energy-efficient building solutions. Klimax’s expanded portfolio positions it to better compete against regional rivals, who may respond with their own mergers or service innovations.

Key challenges include managing integration complexity to avoid service disruptions and retaining key personnel and customers during the transition. Klimax’s leadership remains confident that the combined group will capitalize on growing market opportunities, particularly in energy transition services aligned with sustainability goals.

Looking ahead, Klimax plans to continue investing in technical expertise and workforce development to support its growth ambitions. The company is actively recruiting skilled professionals to join its expanded team, signaling a commitment to long-term regional leadership in installation services.
