HVEG Group, an international fashion group headquartered in the Netherlands, has acquired FYNCH-HATTON, a German fashion and lifestyle brand established in 1998. The acquisition was announced on November 3, 2026, marking a strategic move to strengthen HVEG’s presence in the European and global fashion markets.
FYNCH-HATTON operates in over 50 countries with distribution through more than 3,000 points of sale. The brand generates annual revenues exceeding EUR 70 million. The transaction involves the full acquisition of FYNCH-HATTON from its sole shareholder, Roger Brandts, who has led the company since its founding.
Founded in 1998, FYNCH-HATTON has built a strong international reputation as a lifestyle brand, known for its menswear and expanding womenswear collections. The brand’s extensive distribution network and established market position complement HVEG Group’s existing portfolio and infrastructure.
Roger Brandts commented on the deal, stating, “Finding the right partner for FYNCH-HATTON was about much more than completing a transaction. We wanted to secure a long-term future for the brand while preserving its identity, values and entrepreneurial spirit. HVEG Group offers an excellent platform to build on what we have achieved and unlock the next chapter of international growth.” He also acknowledged the advisory role of VEGA Partners GmbH in facilitating the transaction.
The acquisition is expected to create significant value through multiple synergies. Revenue growth will be driven by further international expansion, enhanced market penetration, and development of womenswear and lifestyle segments. Additionally, HVEG plans to scale direct-to-consumer sales by leveraging FYNCH-HATTON’s e-commerce capabilities.
On the cost side, the deal aims to realize operational efficiencies by consolidating sourcing and procurement, streamlining logistics, and centralizing administrative functions. Integration of supply chain management and inventory optimization across markets are key operational priorities.
Industry experts note that this acquisition strengthens HVEG Group’s competitive position against mid-tier European fashion brands by combining strong brand equity with enhanced operational capabilities. The deal also reflects ongoing consolidation trends in the fashion sector, with competitors likely to pursue similar strategies focused on e-commerce and international growth.
Legal and financial advisory teams played a critical role in the transaction. On the sell-side, VEGA Partners GmbH acted as exclusive M&A advisor, supported by legal counsel Thorsten Rohde, Cédine Benson, and Dr. Johannes Baier, alongside tax advisor Dr. Philipp Stallknecht. The buy-side team included HVEG executives Mike van Snek and Remco Vermeij, with legal advice from Felix Brammer and Felicia Maas, and tax and financial advice from WTS Deutschland.
Looking ahead, HVEG Group plans a careful integration process to maintain FYNCH-HATTON’s brand identity and entrepreneurial culture while aligning operational processes and IT systems. The companies will also navigate cross-border regulatory and market differences to ensure a smooth transition.
This acquisition positions HVEG Group for accelerated growth through expanded geographic reach and product diversification. Both organizations anticipate leveraging their combined strengths to capitalize on evolving consumer trends and digital commerce opportunities.
