On August 31, 2026, Suvia Group announced the acquisition of AutoRepairGroup (ARG), Belgium’s largest independent multi-brand vehicle body repair operator. The transaction marks Suvia’s first expansion beyond Finland, bringing together two prominent independent vehicle repair companies with strong market positions in their respective countries.

ARG operates 14 workshops across Belgium, employs over 450 staff, and completes more than 45,000 repairs annually. The company specializes in servicing leasing and fleet customers and maintains growing partnerships with insurance companies. ARG is recognized for its advanced capabilities in electric vehicle and battery repairs, aluminium bodywork, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration. For 2026, ARG expects revenues exceeding EUR 80 million with an EBITDA margin around 10%.

Suvia Group, headquartered in Helsinki, is Finland’s largest independent provider of vehicle damage services. Its operations include InCar, the country’s largest collision repair network; Suomen Vahinkotarkastus SVT, specializing in vehicle damage inspection and assessment; and AutoBodyParts, an automotive spare parts specialist. Prior to the acquisition, Suvia operated 66 workshops, employed over 600 professionals, and completed more than 80,000 repairs annually. Suvia Group is backed by Intera Partners, a Finnish private equity firm focused on supporting the growth and internationalization of Finnish and Swedish companies.

Jens Jensen, CEO of Suvia Group, stated, “AutoRepairGroup is an excellent strategic fit for Suvia. We share the same commitment to quality, operational efficiency, strong local teams, and effortless customer experience. Suvia brings extensive experience in nationwide insurance partnerships and integrated claims services, while ARG has built leading expertise in electric vehicles, ADAS, and modern repair technology. Together, we have a strong platform for responsible and profitable growth.”

Under the terms of the deal, ARG will continue operating under its existing name and management team. Customer relationships, service offerings, and day-to-day operations will remain unchanged. Similarly, Suvia’s Finnish businesses and the InCar brand will continue as before. Both companies will maintain local organizational structures while increasing cooperation in procurement, technology, and competence development.

Dieter Wemel, CEO of AutoRepairGroup, commented, “Joining Suvia Group gives AutoRepairGroup an industrial partner that understands our business and shares our ambition to develop it further. This combination is built on growth, continuity, and mutual learning. Our employees, customers, and partners can rely on the same local teams and service, now supported by the capabilities of a larger international group.”

Following the acquisition, Suvia Group’s network expands to 80 workshops with approximately 1,100 employees across Finland and Belgium. The Group aims to establish a leading European vehicle damage repair platform while preserving the local entrepreneurship, customer focus, and specialist expertise that have driven success in both markets.

AutoRepairGroup was previously majority-owned by Standard Investment, a European investment firm specializing in medium-sized companies in Northwest Europe. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition aligns with broader industry trends emphasizing consolidation and specialization in vehicle repair services, particularly in electric vehicle and ADAS technologies. By combining Suvia’s integrated insurance claims and damage assessment services with ARG’s technical expertise, the Group is positioned to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency across markets.

The integration will focus on aligning operational processes and IT systems while maintaining ARG’s strong local management and customer relationships. Looking ahead, Suvia Group plans to leverage cross-border synergies in procurement, training, and technology development to drive growth. The acquisition strengthens Suvia’s competitive position in Northern Europe and accelerates industry consolidation amid rising demand for advanced vehicle repair services.
