Van Dijk-Inpijn Engineering acquires DHM-VOS, enhancing capabilities in maritime and offshore manufacturing. Read about the strategic acquisition and future plans.

Van Dijk-Inpijn Engineering B.V., a Dutch engineering and manufacturing firm based in Arkel, has completed the full acquisition of DHM-VOS, a company known for building dredging equipment and serving the maritime and offshore manufacturing industry. The transaction, announced on June 5, 2026, consolidates the two companies’ expertise to pursue growth and operational synergies.

While the financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, Van Dijk-Inpijn now holds 100% ownership of DHM-VOS. The acquired company will continue to operate independently under its existing management team, led by Adriaan van Keulen. Both companies plan a gradual integration process, with DHM-VOS’s production facility in Sliedrecht remaining fully operational. The DHM-VOS office will be centralized at Van Dijk-Inpijn’s headquarters in Arkel to streamline administrative functions.

Van Dijk-Inpijn Engineering specializes in engineering and manufacturing services, focusing on delivering complex industrial projects. DHM-VOS has established a trusted reputation in the maritime and offshore sectors, particularly for its dredging equipment solutions. The acquisition aims to combine these complementary capabilities to enhance the product portfolio and service offerings.

According to René van Genderen, a director at Van Dijk-Inpijn, the acquisition creates a “powerful combination ready to meet tomorrow’s challenges.” The integration will leverage shared knowledge, experience, and capacity to improve competitiveness and enable the companies to bid for larger and more complex projects.

The deal reflects broader industry trends of consolidation within maritime and offshore manufacturing, where companies seek to strengthen market positions through strategic partnerships and acquisitions. By uniting their technical expertise and operational resources, Van Dijk-Inpijn and DHM-VOS expect to achieve cost efficiencies, including shared procurement and streamlined administrative processes.

Financial details such as valuation multiples or funding sources were not disclosed. No external advisors were publicly identified in connection with the transaction.

Looking ahead, the companies will focus on aligning their strategic goals while maintaining DHM-VOS’s operational independence. Both management teams, including Pieter Molenaar and Bram Inpijn from Van Dijk-Inpijn, express confidence in the partnership’s potential to drive growth and innovation.

Clients of DHM-VOS can expect continuity in service quality and flexibility, now enhanced by the broader capabilities of the combined entity. The acquisition opens new opportunities for employees, customers, and partners by expanding capacity and expertise.

As Pieter Molenaar summarized, “Together we move from good to better,” signaling a forward-looking approach to collaboration and market expansion.
