Health Transformation Group Acquires Bij Ons advies to Expand Care IT

Health Transformation Group acquires Bij Ons advies, enhancing digital transformation and ECD expertise for nursing, disability, and mental health care providers.

Health Transformation Group (HTG), a collective focused on healthcare transformation backed by DELTA Equity Partners, has acquired Bij Ons advies, a consultancy specializing in the electronic client dossier (ECD) ONS software developed by Nedap. This strategic move, announced on April 21, 2026, strengthens HTG’s position as a comprehensive partner for care organizations across nursing, care and home care (VVT), disability care (GHZ), and mental health care (GGZ).

The acquisition addresses pressing challenges faced by care providers, including high administrative burdens, staff shortages, and the need for secure regional collaboration. By integrating Bij Ons advies’s deep expertise in ECD implementation and management with HTG’s existing operational capabilities, the combined entity aims to streamline administrative processes and enhance application management for healthcare clients.

While financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, the transaction reflects HTG’s commitment to delivering end-to-end digital transformation services—from strategic planning to execution on the ground. Bij Ons advies brings specialized knowledge of Nedap’s ONS system, a widely used electronic client dossier platform, enabling HTG to support care organizations in optimizing their software use and facilitating cross-organizational data sharing.

HTG operates as a transformation collective serving multiple care sectors, offering integrated solutions that combine consultancy, technology, and operational support. Bij Ons advies complements this portfolio with its focused consultancy on ECD systems, particularly in the context of regional cooperation among care providers.

Jelle Mostert, director of Bij Ons advies, states, “By joining forces within HTG, we can leverage our expertise more broadly to translate digital ambitions in healthcare into tangible outcomes. Our goal is to ensure technology supports caregivers and facilitates collaboration between organizations, freeing up more time for client care.”

John Jansen, director of ZZA, a HTG label, adds, “Many care institutions underutilize their software capabilities for regional collaboration. The addition of Bij Ons advies’s consultants enriches our offering; together, we can simplify administration, reduce errors, and enable seamless cross-boundary cooperation.”

The healthcare sector is increasingly focused on digital transformation to address workforce shortages and regulatory demands for data security and interoperability. This acquisition positions HTG to better meet these market needs by combining digital strategy with specialized ECD advisory services.

Operational synergies include consolidating administrative and application management functions, reducing duplicated consulting efforts, and improving coordination of digital care projects. The integration also enhances HTG’s ability to implement secure client data sharing across organizational boundaries, a critical factor in regional care collaboration.

Looking ahead, HTG plans to integrate Bij Ons advies’s consultancy services fully into its transformation offerings, ensuring a seamless client experience. The combined expertise is expected to accelerate regional cooperation initiatives and support care organizations in realizing their digital transformation goals.

Potential challenges include aligning organizational cultures and workflows, managing client expectations during integration, and navigating regulatory compliance related to client data sharing. However, the strategic benefits are anticipated to outweigh these risks, reinforcing HTG’s market position amid accelerating industry consolidation.

This acquisition signals increased competitive pressure on other healthcare transformation providers to expand their digital and ECD advisory capabilities. HTG’s enhanced service portfolio aims to deliver greater value to care organizations by reducing administrative burdens and enabling more effective regional collaboration.
