Strikwerda-backed Your.Cloud Acquires Danthas ICT to Expand Primary Care IT Services

Your.Cloud, backed by Dutch private equity Strikwerda Investments, has acquired Danthas ICT, a specialist IT service provider focused on general practitioner (GP) practices, pharmacies, and healthcare organizations in the Netherlands. The acquisition, announced in June 2026, integrates Danthas ICT’s team and operations into Your.Cloud’s decentralized platform, while allowing Danthas ICT to maintain its brand identity and local presence in Drachten.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Danthas ICT’s team of over twenty ICT professionals will continue working from their existing office, serving clients primarily across North Holland, Utrecht, Flevoland, Friesland, and Groningen. The acquisition aligns with Your.Cloud’s strategy to support managed service providers (MSPs) in the healthcare sector by combining local expertise with broader technological resources.

Founded in 1994, Danthas ICT has established itself as a trusted IT partner for primary care providers. The company offers deep knowledge of healthcare market requirements and extensive experience with commonly used GP information systems. Its personalized service model and proactive support have driven steady growth, including expanding its footprint among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in healthcare.

For Your.Cloud, a leading MSP platform, the acquisition enhances its portfolio by adding Danthas ICT’s specialized healthcare IT capabilities. According to Ane Schaap, Managing Director and Owner of Danthas ICT, preserving the company’s identity was a key consideration. “The DNA of Danthas is highly valued by both customers and colleagues. In our search for the next step, it was therefore essential that we could retain our identity,” Schaap said. He added that joining Your.Cloud provides access to advanced expertise in security, cloud computing, automation, and artificial intelligence (AI), enabling Danthas ICT to broaden its service offerings without compromising its personal approach.
