RevSpring acquires TrustCommerce to streamline healthcare payment processes, enhancing financial engagement for providers.
RevSpring, headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee and backed by Frazier Healthcare Partners, has announced its acquisition of TrustCommerce, a prominent financial technology company specializing in integrated healthcare payment solutions. This strategic move, revealed on February 20, 2026, is designed to bolster RevSpring’s existing patient financial experience platform by incorporating TrustCommerce’s advanced payment capabilities.
The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed. However, the acquisition is expected to significantly enhance RevSpring’s operational capabilities, allowing healthcare providers and payers to streamline payment processes and reduce vendor complexity.
RevSpring is known for its analytics-driven communications and payment solutions that facilitate patient outreach, billing, and revenue cycle optimization. The company processes over 60 million payment transactions annually, collecting more than $14 billion in patient payments. TrustCommerce, a portfolio company of Waud Capital Partners, has built a reputation for its secure and compliant payment solutions, serving large health systems and ambulatory practices.
Scott MacKenzie, Chief Executive Officer of RevSpring, emphasized the strategic importance of this acquisition, stating, “This acquisition expands the scale of our platform and enhances our capabilities in integrated payments. For providers and partners, the benefit is clear: fewer disconnected vendors, simpler reconciliation, and a more unified payments foundation, while preserving flexibility and choice in existing banking and merchant relationships.”
Anthony Lucatuorto, CEO of TrustCommerce, added, “Integrated payments transform fragmented transactions into a cohesive, end-to-end financial platform, with clearer paths and fewer gaps. Together with RevSpring, we can help providers and partners simplify payment workflows, expand processing flexibility, and achieve greater operational visibility through a single, integrated solution.”
The combined entity is poised to strengthen its market position in the healthcare payment solutions sector, with potential geographic expansion into new markets where TrustCommerce has established a presence. The integration of TrustCommerce’s enterprise gateway connectivity with RevSpring’s platform is expected to enhance financial engagement capabilities and improve operational control from transaction through reconciliation.
Looking ahead, RevSpring plans to focus on integrating TrustCommerce’s systems while maintaining service continuity for existing clients. The company is committed to modernizing payments and financial engagement in the healthcare sector, addressing the unique challenges faced by healthcare organizations.
As the healthcare payment landscape continues to evolve, this acquisition positions RevSpring to better serve its clients and adapt to changing market demands.
