Iver, a leading company in the wind energy sector backed by Gate Invest, has announced its acquisition of the service and maintenance activities of ENO Energy Systems GmbH, a subsidiary of the German turbine manufacturer ENO Energy. The deal, finalized on January 19, 2026, allows Iver to immediately utilize an established service hub located in Rostock, Germany, which includes offices, workshop, and warehouse facilities.
This strategic acquisition adds approximately 60 experienced employees to Iver’s workforce, enhancing its operational capabilities and expanding its service locations across Germany. The integration of ENO Energy Systems’ Remote Control Centre into Iver’s operations will further strengthen its position in one of Europe’s largest wind energy markets.
According to John van Soest, CEO of Iver, the new team from ENO Energy Systems brings invaluable expertise in the German wind market. He stated, “These are professionals who operate safely and professionally under all circumstances and bring a wealth of knowledge about the German market. Within Iver, they will be given the opportunity to develop further and create sustainable value for our customers.” This acquisition aligns with Iver’s commitment to providing high-quality service and support to wind turbine owners.
The Rostock branch will serve as a central hub for maintenance, service, and projects in Central Europe, allowing Iver to respond quickly to customer needs through a network of regional service hubs. This operational structure is designed to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime for wind turbine operators.
Germany’s wind energy market is characterized by ambitious growth targets, with many turbines requiring innovative solutions to remain operational. Iver’s acquisition positions the company to capitalize on these opportunities, leveraging its experience from the Netherlands to drive growth in Germany.
As part of the acquisition, Iver has extended new service and maintenance contracts to ENO Energy’s existing customers, ensuring continuity of service by utilizing the trusted technicians who have now joined Iver. Customers will benefit from a comprehensive range of services, including regular maintenance, inspections, and lifecycle support.
Looking ahead, Iver aims to integrate the new employees into its operational framework while maintaining high safety and service standards. The company is poised to enhance its service platform in Germany, ultimately aiming to become a market leader in wind turbine servicing.
