Guardian Capital Partners announced on February 18, 2026, the final closing of Guardian Capital Partners Fund IV at $441 million in total capital commitments. The fund was oversubscribed and reached its hard cap within seven months from first close to final close, supported by strong demand from a global base of institutional and private investors.

Fund IV was anchored by significant commitments from longstanding limited partners, many of whom have invested with Guardian since 2008. The investor base was further expanded with select new relationships, including university endowments, foundations, blue-chip fund of funds, and family offices. The successful raise underscores continued confidence in Guardian’s sector-driven investment strategy and its reputation as a long-term partner to business owners in the lower middle market.

Guardian focuses on control investments in founder-led and closely held companies. The firm applies a research-informed, thematic approach to identifying sectors with favorable long-term fundamentals and recurring value creation opportunities. This strategy is reflected in Guardian’s Priority Sectors (GPS) program, which guides sourcing, diligence, and operational initiatives in areas where the firm has developed deep expertise.

Guardian’s current GPS themes include Industrial Technology, Digital Infrastructure, Non-Discretionary Services, and Food & Beverage Manufacturing. Through this focused approach, the firm aims to combine strategic insight with hands-on operational support to drive sustainable growth.

Fund IV has already been seeded with three platform acquisitions aligned with its GPS framework: LINX, Raptor Power Systems, and Heatscape. These investments highlight the firm’s continued momentum in deploying capital and executing on its targeted sector strategy.

Guardian was represented by Latham & Watkins LLP in connection with the formation of Fund IV. The firm did not engage an external placement agent for the fundraising process.
