Rivean-backed Crowe Acquires c)solutions to Boost Microsoft Collaboration Services

Crowe acquires c)solutions, adding 10 Microsoft specialists and boosting digital collaboration offerings. Learn about the strategic growth in technology services.

Crowe, a national accountancy and advisory organization headquartered in Eindhoven backed by Rivean Capital, has agreed to acquire c)solutions, an IT service provider specializing in digital collaboration based in Utrecht. The acquisition, announced on July 14, 2026, aims to strengthen Crowe’s existing Technology services, particularly in Microsoft solutions such as Azure, Power Platform, SharePoint, and Teams.

While the financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, the acquisition adds approximately 10 Microsoft specialists to Crowe’s IT consulting team in Eindhoven. This move aligns with Crowe’s broader growth strategy to expand its technology offerings and deepen its expertise in integrated IT, data, AI, cybersecurity, and business software solutions.

Founded as a specialist in Microsoft 365 and digital collaboration, c)solutions complements Crowe’s existing technology portfolio by enhancing its capabilities in delivering Microsoft-based collaboration tools to both small and medium-sized enterprises (SMBs) and large corporate clients. The integration of c)solutions’ expertise is expected to enable Crowe to offer more comprehensive solutions across IT, finance, and HR domains.

Geert Rademakers, director of ACA IT-Solutions, a Crowe subsidiary that will be rebranded as Crowe IT Solutions in the second half of 2026, stated, “The demand for integrated technology, data, and AI solutions is growing rapidly. With c)solutions, we expand our Microsoft expertise and strengthen our position in both the public and private sectors.”

Marcel Croonen, director of c)solutions, added, “From the outset, it felt like we spoke the same language. While we currently support clients primarily with Microsoft 365 collaboration, joining Crowe allows us to broaden our support across IT, finance, and HR. Combining our specialist Microsoft knowledge with Crowe’s scale and expertise benefits both clients and employees.”

Crowe operates across nine locations in the Netherlands with 800 employees and is part of the global Crowe network active in over 150 countries. Its service lines include audit, financial services, tax, HR services, corporate finance, business advisory, and technology. The acquisition of c)solutions enhances Crowe’s integrated technology proposition, enabling cross-selling opportunities and improved service delivery efficiency.

The deal also involves rebranding ACA IT-Solutions under the Crowe IT Solutions name to unify the technology services under one recognizable brand. This consolidation is expected to streamline market presence and leverage Crowe’s strong brand reputation.

Industry analysts note that the acquisition reflects a broader trend of consolidation in the Dutch IT and professional services market, where firms are expanding Microsoft and collaboration capabilities to meet rising client demand for integrated digital solutions. Competitors may respond with similar acquisitions or partnerships to maintain market position.

Looking ahead, Crowe plans to integrate c)solutions’ team and technology platforms carefully to maintain client service continuity and retain key talent. The combined expertise positions Crowe to capitalize on growing demand for Microsoft-based collaboration and AI-driven technology solutions across sectors.
