BlueMill, a Dutch Private Equity firm, worked with the shareholders of AtéCé and Wifac to merge the two companies under a newly formed holding company named Visi Group. The merger was announced on April 10, 2026, marking the final closing of the transaction. A concentration request was submitted to the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) as part of the regulatory approval process and was approved on February 27, 2026.

Both AtéCé and Wifac will continue to operate autonomously, maintaining their own management teams, brands, cultures, and go-to-market strategies. Bert Schelhaas will lead Visi Group, overseeing the consolidation strategy across Europe and managing daily operations. Marcel Otto will focus on integrating Wifac into the group to ensure a smooth transition for all stakeholders. The existing management teams will remain active in their current roles, playing key roles in the group’s development.

AtéCé specializes in large-scale professional production and confectioning of chemical products, washcloth rolls, ink mixtures, and rubber cloths. Wifac brings complementary 24/7 service and application expertise. The merger leverages these synergies to enhance customer service, operational responsiveness, and cost efficiencies.

The consolidation strengthens the combined entity’s position in the European industrial manufacturing and chemical production markets. By bundling AtéCé’s production capabilities with Wifac’s service offerings, the group aims to improve client retention and acquisition while optimizing procurement, supply chain, and administrative functions. Customer and supplier contacts remain unchanged to ensure continuity.
