Better Being acquires Natur Energi, exclusive Solaray distributor in Denmark, to strengthen health and wellbeing market presence. Read more on the strategic deal.

Better Being, backed by Snapdragon Capital Partners, has completed the acquisition of Natur Energi, a Danish family-owned company and the exclusive distributor of the Solaray brand in Denmark, on April 9, 2026. Natur Energi has managed the import, sales, and distribution of Solaray products since 1991, building a portfolio of over 100 health and vitamin products sold through major Danish retailers such as Matas, Helsam, and pharmacies.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Natur Energi will continue to operate as the primary sales and distribution partner for Better Being in Denmark, with closer integration and strategic support from the parent company. This acquisition marks a full ownership transfer, consolidating Better Being’s presence in the Danish health and wellness market.

Natur Energi has played a pivotal role in establishing Solaray as Denmark’s largest health supplement brand. The company’s longstanding partnership with Better Being, which owns Solaray and 15 other brands globally, has contributed to tailored product development for the Danish market. Better Being, owned by Snapdragon Capital Partners since December 2025, operates an integrated value chain from production to sales and collaborates with select distributors worldwide.

The strategic rationale behind the acquisition is to leverage Natur Energi’s strong distribution platform and loyal customer base to enhance Better Being’s market share in Denmark. By integrating operations, Better Being aims to streamline supply chain logistics, consolidate marketing efforts, and accelerate product innovation tailored to local consumer needs.

Industry experts note that this deal exemplifies the ongoing consolidation trend in the Nordic health and wellbeing sector. The acquisition strengthens Better Being’s competitive position against smaller distributors and brands, potentially prompting further M&A activity in the region.

Looking ahead, Better Being plans to maintain Natur Energi’s operational autonomy in sales and distribution while fostering closer collaboration on product development and marketing strategies. The integration aims to preserve customer relationships and minimize disruption during the transition.

Overall, the acquisition positions Better Being to capitalize on structural growth in the health supplement market by combining global brand strength with local market expertise. The companies anticipate that this closer partnership will drive the next phase of growth in Denmark’s expanding health and wellness segment.
