IK Partners-backed IG&H Acquires CloudNation to Boost End-to-End Digital Transformation

IG&H acquires CloudNation, adding 60 cloud and AI engineers to boost digital transformation in finance, healthcare, and retail sectors.

IG&H, a consulting firm focused on digital transformation backed by IK Partners, has acquired CloudNation from Atomic Group as of April 28, 2026. This strategic move brings more than 60 cloud and AI engineers with expertise in AWS and Azure into IG&H’s fold, aiming to deliver comprehensive end-to-end digital transformation solutions.

The deal involves a full acquisition of CloudNation, although financial terms were not disclosed. The integration is expected to enhance IG&H’s ability to execute complex cloud and AI projects at scale, moving beyond strategy to tangible implementation.

IG&H, headquartered in Utrecht, Netherlands, specializes in consulting services that drive digital transformation across sectors such as financial services, healthcare, and retail. CloudNation is a cloud and AI engineering firm known for its technical execution capabilities and strong presence in AWS and Azure environments.

Joost van de Meent, CEO of IG&H, highlights the rationale behind the acquisition: “Many organizations struggle to move from strategy to execution, often stalling in planning phases. With CloudNation, we gain the competence to realize cloud and AI transformations effectively—delivering working solutions in production, at scale, and within complex environments.”

CloudNation’s CEO, Hans Reinhart, notes the benefits of the partnership: “Together with IG&H, we help organizations modernize while maintaining control over their data and governance.”

Atomic Group, the seller, will now focus exclusively on sovereign cloud, data, and AI infrastructure for the Dutch market, a sector experiencing rapid growth due to tightening European regulations. Atomic Group’s Databricks partner, Revodata, remains part of the group, and commercial collaboration with CloudNation will continue.

Strategically, the acquisition allows IG&H to combine CloudNation’s technical execution strength with its own sector-specific consulting expertise. This synergy is expected to accelerate client digital transformation projects from strategy through execution, particularly in financial services, healthcare, and retail. It also opens opportunities for IG&H to pursue larger and more complex engagements.

Market trends indicate a shift where organizations seek partners capable of delivering full lifecycle digital transformation rather than isolated technology solutions. IG&H’s expanded capabilities position it strongly against competitors, who may respond with similar acquisitions or partnerships to enhance their cloud execution offerings.

Financial details such as deal value and multiples were not disclosed. The acquisition is expected to reduce reliance on external vendors and optimize delivery efficiency by consolidating cloud and AI engineering resources.

Looking ahead, IG&H plans to integrate CloudNation’s technical teams while preserving their agility. Challenges include aligning organizational cultures and harmonizing project management processes. The combined entity aims to deliver scalable, production-ready cloud and AI solutions that meet evolving client demands.

Overall, this acquisition marks a significant step for IG&H in strengthening its position as a leading end-to-end digital transformation partner in the Dutch market, leveraging deep sector knowledge and technical execution capabilities.
