Stellex Capital Closes Fund III at $2.4 Billion, Nearly $700 Million Above Predecessor

Stellex Capital Management, a New York-based mid-market private equity firm, has announced the final close of Stellex Capital Partners III at approximately $2.4 billion — nearly $700 million larger than its predecessor fund. The fund was raised from both new and existing high-quality institutional investors, reflecting continued confidence in Stellex’s investment philosophy and track record, particularly against a persistently challenging fundraising backdrop.

The close follows an extended fundraising process and includes related co-investment commitments, representing a significant milestone for the platform. Asante Capital served as placement agent on the raise.

Stellex Capital Partners III will continue to execute the firm’s established investment strategy, deploying capital across aerospace and defence, government services, transportation and logistics, manufacturing, real economy and business services, food processing, and tech-enabled services. The firm has already completed six investments from the fund, including the acquisition of Crest Ultrasonics, an industrial technology manufacturer.
