Strand Acquires MindCapture to Expand Life Sciences Consultancy in Belgium

Strand, a prominent life sciences consultancy firm under the Sisu Group (backed by Down 2 Earth Capital) umbrella, has acquired MindCapture, a specialized consultancy based in Flanders. Announced on June 25, 2026, the acquisition significantly expands Strand’s consulting capacity and geographic reach across Belgium.

While financial terms were not disclosed, the transaction results in a combined team of 240 consultants, representing a 30% increase in consultancy capacity. Strand currently employs 190 consultants and has completed over 800 projects, while MindCapture brings 50 experienced consultants and a strong presence in Flanders with a client portfolio exceeding 75 companies.

Strand offers expert solutions in quality management, regulatory affairs, research and development, supply chain, and manufacturing for pharmaceutical, biotech, and med-tech companies. MindCapture complements this with over a decade of experience supporting pharmaceutical, in vitro diagnostics (IVD), and med-tech companies from R&D through to commercialization, including cleantech expertise.

Founder Kristiaan Vanhercke will remain involved as a strategic advisor following a transition period.
