Ranger Fire and Security Acquires Fidelity Integrated Systems

Ranger Fire and Security expands into South East with acquisition of Fidelity Integrated Systems, enhancing fire and security services in London and Home Counties.

Hyperion Equity Partners-backed Ranger Fire and Security has completed the acquisition of Fidelity Integrated Systems, a fire and safety-security solutions provider based in Greater London and Orpington. The deal, announced in April 2026, marks Ranger’s first strategic move into the South East region, establishing Fidelity as its business hub for London and the Home Counties.

Fidelity Integrated Systems offers a comprehensive range of services including installation, maintenance, callouts, and remedial works for fire safety and security systems. Its portfolio covers fire alarms, access control, CCTV, disabled refuge systems, intruder alarms, and gate automation. The company has served customers across London and the South East for over 20 years, with a client base that includes iconic landmarks, listed buildings, schools, retail outlets, and residential developments.

Fidelity holds some of the highest industry accreditations, including NACOSS Gold for Security and Fire Alarm Systems, and is fully regulated by the National Security Inspectorate (NSI). These credentials reinforce its reputation for quality and compliance in the fire and security sector.

Ranger Fire and Security, operating across the UK and Ireland, has pursued an aggressive acquisition strategy since its formation in early 2024. The purchase of Fidelity represents its 18th acquisition overall and the fifth in 2026 alone. Ranger aims to build a national platform by integrating high-quality local businesses to deliver best-in-class fire and security services.

Andy Atkinson, Managing Director of Fidelity, will remain in his role along with the existing senior management team to ensure continuity of service and client relationships. Ranger plans to leverage Fidelity’s established presence and accreditations to expand its customer base and service offerings in the South East.

According to Ranger’s leadership, Fidelity will serve as the group’s regional hub, enabling the company to better reach new customers and support future bolt-on acquisitions in the area. This move addresses a previous geographic gap in Ranger’s coverage, particularly in Greater London and the Home Counties.

The acquisition is expected to generate synergies through cross-selling opportunities, operational efficiencies, and consolidated back-office functions. Ranger also anticipates enhanced service delivery speed and standardized compliance processes by integrating Fidelity’s operations.

Industry experts note that this deal strengthens Ranger’s competitive position in a consolidating fire and security market. Competitors in the South East may face increased pressure as Ranger expands its footprint and service capabilities.

Looking ahead, Ranger will focus on integrating Fidelity’s systems and culture while maintaining high service standards to minimize client attrition. The company also plans to continue investing in technology and talent to support growth and innovation across its expanded network.

This acquisition underscores Ranger’s commitment to becoming the leading one-stop provider of fire and security services across the UK and Ireland, delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality solutions to a broad customer base.
