Proforto, a prominent supplier of workwear and personal protective equipment (PPE) in the Netherlands backed by Nobel Capital, has acquired two companies—Arbowinkel.nl and Senska—expanding its product portfolio and digital footprint in the occupational safety market. The announcement was made on May 13, 2026, with no financial terms disclosed.

The acquisition brings together three complementary businesses, enabling Proforto to offer a comprehensive range of products including workwear, PPE, fire prevention, and first aid supplies. This strategic consolidation aims to provide customers with a single source for workplace safety needs, improving convenience and service efficiency.

Arbowinkel.nl is an established e-commerce platform specializing in occupational safety products, primarily serving self-employed professionals and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Its user-friendly online store and targeted product selection have made it a trusted name in the segment.

Senska operates as an importer and wholesaler of fire prevention and first aid products. It supplies REOB-certified companies and professional fire extinguisher installers, known for its deep product expertise and certified inventory. Senska’s inclusion significantly broadens Proforto’s safety product range.

Jelle Gudden, Founder and COO of Proforto, states, “The acquisition of Arbowinkel.nl and Senska aligns perfectly with our strategy to become a one-stop partner for all workplace safety needs. Our customers have long sought a broader offering and fewer fragmented suppliers. This integration allows us to deliver on that demand by combining expertise, scale, and digital capabilities across the three organizations.”

Bram Decoene of Senska adds, “Joining forces with Proforto is a natural next step. We have built a strong position in fire prevention and first aid with a loyal customer base. Together, we can extend our knowledge and product range to a wider audience without compromising the trusted service our clients expect.”

The deal enhances Proforto’s e-commerce capabilities, particularly for the self-employed and SME market, by incorporating Arbowinkel.nl’s digital platform tailored to these customers. This complements Proforto’s existing online presence and logistics infrastructure, promising faster delivery and improved customer experience.

Industry trends show increasing demand for integrated occupational safety solutions and streamlined procurement processes. Proforto’s expanded portfolio positions it to capitalize on these trends, potentially accelerating market consolidation in the sector.

While financial details remain undisclosed, the acquisition is expected to generate synergies through cross-selling opportunities, consolidated logistics, and unified IT systems. These efficiencies aim to reduce costs and enhance service quality.

Looking ahead, Proforto plans to integrate the operations and IT platforms of the three companies to create a seamless customer journey. The company emphasizes maintaining high service standards during this transition and anticipates regulatory approvals to proceed without obstacles.

This acquisition marks a significant step in Proforto’s growth strategy, reinforcing its ambition to lead the occupational safety market in the Netherlands by offering a comprehensive, digitally enabled product and service portfolio.
