Seven2-backed Odin Groep Expands Data and AI Expertise with Victa Acquisition

Odin Groep, via Previder, acquires Victa, enhancing data management and AI capabilities for 2,000+ clients. Learn about the strategic expansion.

Seven2-backed Odin Groep has expanded its footprint in the data and artificial intelligence (AI) sector by acquiring Victa, a specialist firm based in Borne and Amsterdam. The acquisition, executed through Odin’s subsidiary Previder, integrates Victa’s expertise in data management, analytics, consultancy, and AI into Previder’s existing IT services portfolio.

Victa brings over 16 years of experience supporting more than 2,000 organizations in leveraging data for improved decision-making. The company’s core competencies include Business Intelligence (BI), data management, data analytics, business consultancy, data science, and AI. With 62 employees, Victa operates from its offices in Borne and Amsterdam.

Previder, known for its strong IT foundation in cloud services, security, and business continuity, aims to enhance its data-driven offerings through this acquisition. The integration of Victa’s capabilities allows Previder to provide a more comprehensive solution that combines IT infrastructure with advanced data analytics and AI-driven insights.

According to a spokesperson from Odin Groep, “Data plays an increasingly critical role for organizations in steering operations, innovating, and maintaining competitiveness. Bringing Victa into the group adds a highly experienced and technically strong partner that significantly enhances our data, analytics, and AI expertise.” The spokesperson further noted that Victa will continue to operate as an independent brand within Odin Groep, ensuring continuity for clients and employees while benefiting from the broader scale and resources of the group.

The acquisition aligns with broader industry trends where IT service providers are expanding into data and AI to meet growing client demand for integrated, data-driven solutions. By combining Previder’s cloud and security services with Victa’s data expertise, Odin Groep positions itself to offer end-to-end digital transformation support.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. However, the strategic rationale focuses on cross-selling opportunities, operational synergies, and enhanced innovation capacity. The combined entity expects to leverage Victa’s extensive client base and Previder’s infrastructure to drive revenue growth and improve service delivery efficiency.

Integration plans emphasize maintaining Victa’s operational independence while aligning corporate cultures and IT systems. The group aims to minimize disruption to existing client relationships during the transition.

Looking ahead, Odin Groep intends to develop Victa and Previder into a total solution provider with a broader Microsoft and cloud proposition, strengthening its competitive position in the Dutch data and AI services market.
