Newfora acquires Klictet, enhancing expertise in building physics and sustainability. Discover how this expands advisory services in social real estate.
Newfora, backed by Green Park Investment Partners, has expanded its network by acquiring Klictet, a well-established advisory firm specializing in installation technology, building physics, sustainability, and building performance. The acquisition, announced on June 3, 2026, aims to strengthen Newfora’s position in the sustainable built environment sector, particularly within social real estate.
Klictet, founded in 2005 and based in Oisterwijk, operates with a team of 38 professionals. The firm is recognized for delivering innovative, practical, and measurable solutions that promote healthy, functional, safe, and comfortable buildings and living environments. Despite joining Newfora’s network, Klictet will continue to operate under its own name and maintain its existing team and client relationships.
Eloi Burdorf, Newfora’s founder, highlights the strategic value of the acquisition: “Stefan Janssen and Willem-Jan van den Berk have built a successful company, and by joining Newfora, they take the next step in collaborating with other knowledge-intensive firms. Klictet adds both expertise and a strong market position to our network.”
Newfora is a network of specialized advisory and engineering firms focused on advancing sustainability in the built environment and industry. Member firms retain their entrepreneurial independence while collaborating on knowledge development, innovation, and integrated solutions.
The acquisition enhances Newfora’s service offering by integrating Klictet’s expertise in building physics and sustainability with its existing capabilities. This synergy is expected to facilitate cross-selling opportunities, broaden access to social real estate clients, and accelerate innovation through shared research and development efforts.
From an operational perspective, the deal aims to improve collaboration across disciplines within Newfora’s network and streamline project delivery. Maintaining Klictet’s entrepreneurial culture and team continuity is a priority to ensure client retention and service quality.
Industry observers note that this acquisition reflects a broader trend of consolidation in the sustainable building advisory market. Competitors may respond by forming similar alliances or investing in specialized expertise to remain competitive.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. No external advisors were reported to have been involved in the transaction.
Looking ahead, Newfora plans to integrate Klictet’s capabilities fully while preserving its brand identity. The combined network is positioned to pursue larger, multidisciplinary projects and deliver comprehensive, measurable sustainability solutions to clients.
This acquisition underscores Newfora’s commitment to accelerating sustainable progress in the built environment through collaboration and innovation.
