MatchWorks expands its HR services by acquiring a majority stake in Uitzendbureau Salland, boosting regional staffing capabilities and digital recruitment tools.
MatchWorks, a Zwolle-based HR services group, has acquired a majority stake in Uitzendbureau Salland, a regional staffing agency headquartered in Raalte. The transaction, announced on May 26, 2026, marks a strategic expansion for MatchWorks in the flexible workforce market, particularly within the Salland region of the Netherlands.
While the financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, Uitzendbureau Salland reported annual revenues exceeding €10 million and employs approximately 15 staff members. The acquisition increases MatchWorks’ combined group revenue to around €40 million, consolidating its position among regional HR service providers.
Founded in 2011, Uitzendbureau Salland specializes in staffing and secondment services across production, transport and logistics, and manufacturing and technology sectors. Beyond temporary employment, the company offers HR consultancy, job marketing, career guidance, and training programs, serving a broad client base in the Salland area.
MatchWorks, established in 2020, operates multiple regional HR labels including Flexible Plus, Uitzendbureau Oost Nederland, BC Group, Reviteers, and Get Work. The group employs roughly 40 people and focuses on maintaining the distinct identity of each acquired brand while leveraging shared resources.
The acquisition provides Uitzendbureau Salland access to MatchWorks’ recruitment technology, HR expertise, and IT infrastructure. This integration aims to enhance operational efficiency, improve candidate sourcing, and expand service offerings to new customer segments.
According to industry observers, the deal strengthens MatchWorks’ market share in the Dutch flexible staffing sector and accelerates consolidation trends within the industry. Competitors may face increased pressure as MatchWorks leverages combined scale to negotiate larger contracts and invest in digital workforce management tools.
Advisory roles in the transaction were fulfilled by Dommerholt Advocaten (legal), ING Bank (financial), Rabelink Finance Consultancy, and Marktlink. The deal underscores ongoing consolidation in the HR services market amid evolving labor regulations and growing demand for flexible workforce solutions.
Looking ahead, MatchWorks plans to integrate Uitzendbureau Salland’s operations while preserving its regional identity. The group aims to navigate integration challenges such as aligning corporate cultures and IT systems, maintaining client retention, and ensuring compliance with Dutch labor laws.
This acquisition positions MatchWorks to capitalize on market expansion opportunities and operational synergies, reinforcing its role as a key player in the Netherlands’ flexible staffing landscape.
