Hanab Installation Technology Acquires A. Ploem & Zn. in Limburg

Hanab Installation Technology, backed by Triton Partners, has acquired A. Ploem & Zn., a family-owned technical installation company based in Landgraaf, Limburg, effective April 1, 2026. This strategic acquisition strengthens Hanab’s market position by integrating A. Ploem’s regional expertise with Hanab’s national capabilities in sustainable building technology.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed. A. Ploem & Zn. will continue to operate as an independent entity under its own name and management, preserving its local identity and customer relationships. The acquisition grants A. Ploem access to Hanab’s broader knowledge base, project capacity, and development resources, enabling growth and enhanced service delivery.

Hanab Installation Technology, headquartered in Vianen, specializes in electrotechnical and mechanical installations for buildings, focusing on sustainable and healthy indoor climates. The company has a long history dating back to 1882 through its predecessor Homij and serves sectors including utility, residential, healthcare, and education.

A. Ploem & Zn., founded in 1930, is a well-established family business with approximately 80 employees. It provides comprehensive heating and climate technology services, including installation and maintenance of boilers, air conditioning, heat pumps, electrotechnical systems, and plumbing for both private and commercial clients. The company is currently led by the fourth generation of the founding family.
