Bridgepoint acquires majority stake in Lansweeper to boost growth in technology asset intelligence and cybersecurity. Read more on the strategic deal.

Bridgepoint has reached an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Lansweeper, a prominent technology asset intelligence platform headquartered in Ghent, Belgium. The deal involves a partnership with Lansweeper’s CEO Dave Goossens and the management team, who will retain significant ownership alongside Bridgepoint. Existing shareholder Dovesco will maintain a minority stake, while Insight Partners and Imker Group exit the investment. Financial terms of the transaction remain undisclosed. The deal was announced on July 27, 2026.

Founded over 20 years ago, Lansweeper offers a data platform that leverages AI and software to provide organizations with comprehensive visibility across all connected devices within their IT environments. This includes laptops, servers, industrial equipment, and internet-connected devices. By delivering trusted asset intelligence, Lansweeper helps clients enhance cybersecurity, reduce exposure to cyber threats, improve operational resilience, and manage complex digital infrastructures more effectively.

The company serves thousands of customers worldwide across sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, financial services, technology, and the public sector. Lansweeper has established a strong presence in North America and Europe and maintains one of the industry’s largest proprietary asset intelligence databases, recognizing over two billion technology assets.

The acquisition positions Lansweeper to capitalize on the rapidly growing Technology Asset Intelligence market, driven by increasing demand for cyber resilience, regulatory compliance, hybrid infrastructure management, operational technology integration, and AI adoption. Bridgepoint plans to support Lansweeper’s growth by investing in technology enhancements, expanding cybersecurity capabilities, fostering innovation, and accelerating international expansion. The firm also intends to pursue selective acquisitions to broaden Lansweeper’s product portfolio and global reach.

Bridgepoint brings extensive experience in technology infrastructure and cybersecurity investments, having backed companies such as DataExpert, Infinigate, and iC Consult. “Today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Lansweeper,” said a Bridgepoint spokesperson. “Bridgepoint brings deep technology sector expertise and a strong track record of helping software businesses scale internationally. Together, we share a clear ambition: to further strengthen our position as the global leader in Technology Asset Intelligence, accelerate innovation across our platform, expand our international footprint and unlock new opportunities in AI and cybersecurity.”

Bridgepoint’s acquisition is expected to intensify competition in the technology asset intelligence sector by enabling Lansweeper to accelerate innovation and expand market reach. Competitors may respond with strategic partnerships or increased funding to maintain differentiation. The deal also underscores the growing importance of trusted asset intelligence as enterprises adopt AI and manage increasingly complex IT and operational technology environments.

Financial and legal advisory for Bridgepoint was provided by J.P. Morgan (lead financial adviser), Rothschild & Co and ING (joint junior financial advisers), Clifford Chance (legal counsel), and EY (financial and tax advisory).

Looking ahead, Lansweeper aims to integrate Bridgepoint’s operational expertise to scale its platform infrastructure, enhance AI-driven asset discovery, and strengthen cybersecurity and compliance frameworks. The partnership will focus on maintaining innovation momentum while expanding globally, with the management team continuing to play a key role in strategic execution.
