Airvance Group expands in Northern Europe by acquiring Saint-Gobain’s HVAC distribution in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. Deal includes €415M turnover and 950 employees.

Airvance Group has signed a strategic agreement to acquire Saint-Gobain’s HVAC distribution operations across Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. The transaction, expected to complete by the end of May 2026 pending regulatory approvals, marks a significant step in Airvance’s European expansion strategy.

The acquisition includes three entities: Bevego, Ventistål, and Øland AIRFORCE. Together, these businesses contribute approximately €415 million in projected turnover for 2025 and employ around 950 staff members. The combined network encompasses 62 service centers and production sites, enhancing Airvance’s operational footprint in the Nordic region.

Founded in 2020 through the merger of France Air Group and the HVAC division of SIG Group plc, Airvance Group specializes in designing, manufacturing, and distributing air handling systems for the building industry. The Group has grown rapidly, increasing its turnover from €110 million to over €600 million in under a decade, with ambitions to reach €1 billion in revenue.

By integrating Saint-Gobain’s HVAC distribution activities, Airvance aims to consolidate its leadership in Northern Europe’s HVAC sector. The acquisition will broaden its product and service offerings, leveraging the local expertise and strong brand recognition of Bevego, Ventistål, and Øland AIRFORCE. This expanded presence allows Airvance to deliver more tailored, sustainable HVAC solutions to clients across the Nordic markets.

Strategically, the deal supports Airvance’s external growth objectives by creating synergies in revenue, cost, and operations. Cross-selling opportunities will arise from the expanded product range and new customer bases. Operational efficiencies are expected through the consolidation of service centers, streamlined procurement, and shared administrative functions. The integration of local market knowledge will enhance service delivery and innovation capabilities.

The HVAC distribution market in Northern Europe is competitive and evolving, with increasing demand for sustainable and energy-efficient solutions. Airvance’s expanded footprint positions it as a major regional player, potentially prompting competitors to pursue their own consolidation strategies or invest in service differentiation.

Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed. The acquisition involves a full 100% stake in the targeted entities. Airvance plans to complete the integration smoothly, addressing challenges such as aligning corporate cultures, integrating IT systems, and retaining key talent and customers.

Looking ahead, Airvance Group reaffirms its ambition to become the European leader in HVAC solutions. The company will continue to focus on quality, innovation, and proximity to customers as it expands its presence across Europe.
