Koninklijke Oosterberg has acquired Cevetech, a wholesaler specializing in climate technology, effective October 5, 2026. The transaction is subject to approval by the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM). This acquisition marks a strategic step for Oosterberg to broaden its presence in the mechanical installation (W) market by integrating complementary HVAC product lines and expertise.

Cevetech, founded in 2010, operates as a wholesaler in climate technology, offering products such as boilers (cv-ketels), heat pumps, ventilation systems, radiators, piping and underfloor heating systems, flue gas materials, and control technology. The company has built a strong reputation for technical knowledge, personalized service, and close customer and supplier relationships.

Post-acquisition, Cevetech will continue to operate independently under its own name, retaining its current team, product assortment, and location. No layoffs are expected, ensuring continuity for customers, employees, and suppliers. The companies plan to gradually integrate operations by leveraging shared inventories and distribution points, enhancing logistical efficiency and product availability.

Koninklijke Oosterberg focuses on mechanical installation and sanitary products, including heat pumps, boilers, air conditioning, ventilation, piping systems, and sanitary ware. The acquisition of Cevetech complements Oosterberg’s existing portfolio by adding specialized climate technology products and deepening technical expertise.

According to Oosterberg’s management, “Cevetech is a successful and entrepreneurial company with specialist knowledge and strong market positioning. This aligns well with our Business Unit Werktuigbouwkunde en Sanitair and our growth ambitions in this segment. While Cevetech remains an independent operator, we will strengthen each other through shared knowledge, inventory, and logistics to better serve our customers.” Cevetech’s leadership echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the benefits of combining personalized service with Oosterberg’s scale and network.

The acquisition reflects broader industry trends of consolidation within the HVAC wholesale sector, where companies seek to expand product offerings and improve supply chain efficiencies. By combining forces, Oosterberg and Cevetech aim to enhance their competitive position against peers, offering a wider range of products and improved service capabilities.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition involves a full 100% stake in Cevetech. Both companies expect to realize synergies through cross-selling, procurement cost savings, and operational efficiencies while maintaining customer loyalty through continuity of service.

Looking ahead, the integration will focus on aligning sales and supply chain functions without disrupting Cevetech’s operational independence. Regulatory approval remains a condition precedent. Once completed, the combined entity plans to leverage its expanded product portfolio and logistics network to accelerate growth and better meet customer needs in the Dutch mechanical installation market.

This acquisition positions Koninklijke Oosterberg to capitalize on growing demand for sustainable and efficient HVAC solutions, reinforcing its role as a leading wholesaler in the sector.
