Holland Motion Group acquires Bosch Rexroth’s Compact Hydraulics Customizing Center, enhancing hydraulic drive technology and expanding partnerships.

Holland Motion Group has signed an agreement to acquire the Compact Hydraulics Customizing Center from Bosch Rexroth, with the operational transfer scheduled for January 4, 2027. This strategic acquisition brings Compact Hydraulics and manifold solutions fully in-house, significantly boosting Holland Motion Group’s expertise and capacity in hydraulic drive technology.

The deal involves a full acquisition of the Haarlem-based customizing center, including its experienced technical team. While financial terms were not disclosed, the transaction marks a key milestone in the growth of the family-owned Holland Motion Group.

Holland Motion Group specializes in hydraulic drive technology, offering engineering, production, and customized solutions. The Compact Hydraulics Customizing Center focuses on compact hydraulics and manifold solutions, complementing Holland Motion Group’s existing portfolio. The integration of these capabilities is expected to enhance the group’s product offerings and customer service.

Tom van den Nieuwboer, a senior executive at Holland Motion Group, highlighted the importance of the acquisition: “This acquisition represents an important next step in the continued growth of our family business and significantly strengthens our expertise and capacity in hydraulic drive technology.” He also emphasized the value of welcoming the Haarlem team, noting their specialist knowledge as a valuable addition.

The acquisition also deepens Holland Motion Group’s partnership with Bosch Rexroth. Post-acquisition, Holland Hydraulics Haarlem B.V. will become a Certified Excellence Solution Partner for Compact Hydraulics, expanding the regional Bosch Rexroth partner network. This partnership is expected to open new regional client opportunities and strengthen market positioning.

Industry trends show increasing consolidation in hydraulic and industrial engineering sectors, with companies seeking to enhance customization capabilities and operational efficiency. Holland Motion Group’s move aligns with this trend, aiming to leverage synergies such as cross-selling customized hydraulic solutions, streamlining supply chains, and sharing R&D resources.

Financial details remain undisclosed, but the acquisition is expected to generate cost efficiencies through consolidated engineering and production facilities, as well as operational improvements by integrating specialist teams. The deal also aims to improve customer responsiveness through centralized operations and closer communication.

Looking ahead, Holland Motion Group plans to integrate the Haarlem operation smoothly while retaining key technical personnel and managing customer expectations during the transition. The company foresees opportunities to develop new customized hydraulic solutions and expand its market reach leveraging the strengthened Bosch Rexroth partnership.

As Holland Motion Group continues to build a complementary group with Holland Hydraulics in Hengelo, Holland Actuators, and Hydro Vasli Tilburg, this acquisition marks a significant step in reinforcing its position in the hydraulic drive technology market.

Van den Nieuwboer concluded, “Growing our family business while maintaining technical expertise, short lines of communication, and close customer relationships remains at the heart of what we do. We look forward to January and to building the next chapter together.”
