AVEX acquires Yielder Audiovisual B.V. to strengthen audiovisual and IT services in the Netherlands. Read about the strategic deal and market impact.

AVEX, a family-owned audiovisual services provider operating across the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and the United Kingdom, has completed the acquisition of Yielder Audiovisual B.V., the audiovisual business unit of Yielder. The transaction was announced on May 22, 2026, marking a strategic step for both companies.

While financial terms were not disclosed, the acquisition involves a full 100% stake transfer of Yielder Audiovisual’s operations to AVEX. This move allows Yielder to focus exclusively on its core IT and communication services, including cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and digital workplace solutions.

Yielder, established in 1995, has grown through acquisitions and expanded its portfolio to serve hundreds of business clients across the Netherlands. Its audiovisual division specialized in delivering integrated audiovisual solutions alongside unified communications services such as mobile device management and Teams Calling platforms.

AVEX brings nearly 40 years of experience in the audiovisual sector, with a strong local presence and a company culture closely aligned with Yielder Audiovisual. The acquisition provides AVEX with an expanded client base and complementary technology offerings, reinforcing its position in the Dutch unified communications and audiovisual market.

According to Yielder, the sale is part of a deliberate strategic refocus to streamline operations and concentrate on future-proof IT and communication solutions for business customers. “We are pleased that our audiovisual colleagues have found a new home at AVEX, a company with the right culture, expertise, and ambition to support their growth,” a Yielder spokesperson said.

From AVEX’s perspective, the acquisition enhances its service portfolio by integrating Yielder’s audiovisual expertise with its existing unified communications capabilities. This integration is expected to create revenue synergies through cross-selling and bundling of services, including cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure solutions.

The deal also offers operational efficiencies by consolidating overlapping administrative functions and streamlining procurement and sales efforts. However, both companies acknowledge challenges ahead, such as aligning technology platforms, integrating sales and support teams, and ensuring a smooth transition for clients.

Clients of Yielder Audiovisual will transition to AVEX, which has committed to maintaining service continuity. Meanwhile, Yielder will continue to serve its IT and communication customers independently.

Industry analysts note that this acquisition strengthens AVEX’s competitive position amid accelerating consolidation in the unified communications and audiovisual sectors. Competitors may respond with similar deals or increased investment in integrated digital workplace solutions.

Looking forward, AVEX aims to leverage the combined technology stacks to offer comprehensive digital workplace services, enhance customer retention, and expand its footprint in the Benelux region and beyond.
