Nyver-backed Leseman Car Care Acquires Fleetforce, Expanding to Four Locations

Leseman Car Care acquires Fleetforce, adding a fourth location and strengthening its position as the largest independent PDI and reconditioning specialist in the Netherlands.

Leseman Car Care, the largest independent PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) and vehicle reconditioning specialist in the Netherlands, backed by Dutch private equity Nyver, has expanded its footprint by acquiring Fleetforce, a Putten-based reconditioning firm. The acquisition adds a fourth operational location to Leseman Car Care’s network and deepens its expertise in servicing lease companies and fleet owners.

Founded in 2003, Fleetforce has developed under the leadership of owner Mark van der Lingen into a specialized partner for vehicle reconditioning. The company provides comprehensive services including vehicle intake, inspection, repair, maintenance, cleaning, and storage. Fleetforce’s focus on lease companies and fleet owners complements Leseman Car Care’s existing client base and service portfolio.

Mark van der Lingen will remain actively involved post-acquisition, taking on a commercial role within Leseman Car Care to leverage his industry knowledge and network. “We have built Fleetforce into a strong player in the reconditioning market, especially within the lease and fleet segment. Joining Leseman Car Care is a logical next step that allows us to serve customers at more locations and invest further in professionalization,” Van der Lingen said.

Leseman Car Care offers a full range of services to prepare vehicles for sale, including transport, inspections, maintenance, damage repair, polishing, and photography. The company serves a broad spectrum of clients such as lease companies, dealers, auction houses, and fleet owners. Earlier this year, Leseman Car Care also entered a partnership with Nyver to enhance its service capabilities.

Alexander Gimbrère, co-owner of Leseman Car Care, highlighted the strategic fit of Fleetforce within the group. “Fleetforce aligns perfectly with our vision of being a professional and reliable partner for the business market. Their strong track record and entrepreneurial culture complement our operations. Adding Fleetforce expands our national coverage and strengthens our commercial team with Mark’s expertise and network.”

The acquisition is expected to generate synergies through cross-selling opportunities, expanded geographic reach, and operational efficiencies. Consolidation of administrative functions and optimized use of workshop and storage facilities are anticipated to reduce costs. Additionally, standardizing reconditioning processes and integrating commercial teams aim to improve service quality and sales effectiveness.

Industry observers note that this deal accelerates consolidation in the Dutch vehicle reconditioning sector, increasing competitive pressure on other players. Leseman Car Care’s expanded footprint and enhanced service offering position it strongly to capture growing demand from lease companies and fleet owners seeking comprehensive vehicle preparation solutions.

While the financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, the strategic rationale centers on market expansion and service portfolio enhancement. Integration challenges include aligning corporate cultures and maintaining service quality during the transition. However, retaining key personnel such as Van der Lingen is expected to support a smooth integration.

Looking ahead, Leseman Car Care plans to leverage the combined expertise and locations to deliver improved customer service and operational efficiency. The company aims to consolidate its leadership position in the Netherlands’ PDI and vehicle reconditioning market while exploring further growth opportunities.
