Nordic Climate Group acquires Ten Have Installatie, boosting its sustainable HVAC presence in the Netherlands. Read about the strategic expansion and market impact.

Nordic Climate Group, a leading provider of sustainable cooling and heating solutions backed by Altor, has completed the acquisition of Ten Have Installatie B.V. on April 16, 2026. Ten Have Installatie is a Dutch company specializing in energy-efficient HVAC installations. The deal expands Nordic Climate Group’s operations in the central Netherlands, particularly around Amsterdam, and adds significant technical expertise to its portfolio.

While the financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, the transaction involves a full 100% stake in Ten Have Installatie. Following the acquisition, Nordic Climate Group’s Dutch operations now encompass 14 companies with combined annual revenues of approximately EUR 100 million.

Founded in 2002, Ten Have Installatie has established a strong position in the commercial segment, serving industries such as automotive, retail, and real estate. The company is recognized for its commitment to quality, sustainable installations, and long-term customer relationships. Its founders, Frank and Denise ten Have, who have led the company’s growth and professionalization over two decades, will continue managing day-to-day operations, preserving the company’s local leadership and customer-focused culture.

Erik Snijder, CEO of Nordic Climate Group Netherlands, commented, “Ten Have is a well-run company with solid technical capabilities and a strong position in its market. It complements our existing operations in the Netherlands and adds further expertise to the organisation. The company will continue to operate as it does today, with local leadership and close customer relationships, while benefiting from being part of a larger group.”

Frank and Denise ten Have added, “Becoming part of Nordic Climate Group is a logical next step for us. We have built the company over time with a clear focus on quality and long-term customer relationships. As part of a larger group, we have access to a broader platform, while maintaining our way of working and culture.”

Nordic Climate Group, founded in 2021, operates over 100 local sites across Northern and Western Europe, employing more than 2,300 people. The group focuses on sustainable cooling and heating solutions with an emphasis on energy efficiency. Its ownership is shared between entrepreneurs, employees, and Altor Fund V.

The acquisition aligns with Nordic Climate Group’s strategy to expand its geographic footprint and deepen technical expertise in sustainable HVAC solutions. By integrating Ten Have’s established commercial customer base and technical know-how, Nordic Climate Group aims to enhance cross-selling opportunities and operational efficiencies within its Dutch operations.

Industry trends show increasing demand for energy-efficient HVAC systems, driven by regulatory pressures and corporate sustainability goals. Nordic Climate Group’s strengthened presence in the central Netherlands positions it well against competitors, who may respond with similar consolidation moves to maintain market share.

Looking ahead, Nordic Climate Group plans to maintain Ten Have’s local leadership and customer relationships while leveraging the group’s broader platform to accelerate growth. Integration efforts will focus on aligning operational processes and sharing best practices without disrupting ongoing projects.

Overall, this acquisition represents a strategic step for Nordic Climate Group to consolidate its position in the Dutch commercial HVAC market and drive innovation in sustainable cooling and heating solutions.
