High Bar Brands Acquires Globetech Manufacturing in Trucking Components Deal

High Bar Brands acquires Globetech Manufacturing, expanding its heavy-duty trucking components portfolio across OEM and aftermarket channels.

High Bar Brands, a prominent supplier of commercial vehicle components backed by Sentinel Capital Partners, has acquired Globetech Manufacturing, a family-owned Ohio-based manufacturer specializing in critical parts for the heavy-duty trucking industry. The deal, announced on April 15, 2026, aims to strengthen High Bar Brands’ position in both original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and aftermarket segments.

While the financial terms of the transaction remain undisclosed, the acquisition is structured to integrate Globetech’s product lines into High Bar Brands’ existing portfolio. The companies plan to collaborate closely to ensure operational continuity for customers, suppliers, and employees during the integration process.

Founded in 2002, Globetech Manufacturing has built a strong reputation for producing high-quality components such as ABS and air system parts, mud flaps, electronic control units, wheel-end accessories, and other trailer and mechanical components. The company has manufactured over 20 million mud flaps, serving a broad customer base across North America in both OEM and aftermarket channels.

High Bar Brands, headquartered in Owatonna, Minnesota, operates a portfolio of brands including Minimizer, Premier Manufacturing, Viking Mud Flaps, Dieters Accessories, Panelite, and BettsHD. The company focuses on delivering durable, innovative solutions to the heavy-duty trucking market, serving fleets, distributors, and manufacturers.

Christopher Thorpe, President and CEO of High Bar Brands, stated, “High Bar Brands continues to execute on its growth strategy in a dynamic market environment. Globetech adds products that are used every day across the heavy-duty industry, helping us build a more balanced portfolio of essential components while expanding what we can offer customers across both OEM and aftermarket channels.” Derek Quys, Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development, added, “This acquisition gives us additional scale in key categories and creates new product opportunities to support our partners with a broader and more integrated offering.”

Tim Begley, President of Globetech Manufacturing, expressed confidence in the partnership: “Joining High Bar Brands allows us to build on our foundation, expand our reach, and continue delivering the quality and service our customers expect. Their commitment to growth and customer relationships gives us confidence in the future of the business and the opportunities ahead for our team.”

The acquisition aligns with broader industry trends of consolidation and portfolio expansion within the heavy-duty trucking components sector. By integrating Globetech’s products, High Bar Brands enhances its ability to cross-sell complementary components, improve operational efficiencies, and strengthen its distribution network across North America.

Strategic synergies include expanding product offerings to fleets and distributors, streamlining manufacturing and supply chain operations, and leveraging combined engineering expertise for product development. However, the companies face integration challenges such as aligning manufacturing processes, maintaining customer service levels, and blending corporate cultures.

Competitively, this move positions High Bar Brands to exert greater market influence, potentially prompting rivals to pursue similar acquisitions or invest in innovation and partnerships to maintain market share.

Looking ahead, High Bar Brands and Globetech plan to integrate operations while preserving service continuity. The acquisition is expected to enhance High Bar Brands’ product portfolio and market coverage, supporting long-term growth in the heavy-duty trucking components industry.
