2ICT Acquires Reality ICT to Strengthen IT Managed Services

2ICT, a prominent player in the IT managed services sector, has announced its acquisition of Reality ICT on March 2, 2026. Reality ICT is a cloud, data, and cybersecurity solutions provider based in Beilen. This strategic move, made in collaboration with Smizer and Private Equity firm Riverdam, aims to strengthen their market presence in the Assen region and respond to the growing demand for advanced IT solutions.

The acquisition is part of Smizer’s broader growth strategy, which focuses on building a network of regionally operating IT managed service providers (MSPs). By integrating Reality ICT into its operations, 2ICT aims to enhance its capabilities and expand its service offerings to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The deal’s financial terms have not been disclosed, but it is expected to significantly impact the combined market share of the acquiring companies.

2ICT operates from locations in Assen, Zwolle, and Harderwijk, employing a team of 30 professionals dedicated to delivering reliable IT solutions. The company is ISO27001 and ISO9001 certified, ensuring high standards in service delivery. Reality ICT’s alignment with 2ICT’s culture and service philosophy is expected to facilitate a smooth integration process.
