Gilde Healthcare Acquires Rudischhauser for Strategic Expansion

Gilde Healthcare has announced the acquisition of Rudischhauser Surgical Instruments Manufacturing GmbH, a prominent manufacturer of complex surgical instruments based in Tuttlingen, Germany. This strategic move, revealed on January 26, 2026, marks a significant milestone in Gilde’s efforts to establish a leading contract manufacturing group for precision surgical instruments.

With this acquisition, Rudischhauser joins Gilde’s existing portfolio, which includes Chr. Diener and Koscher & Würtz, bringing the total employee count to approximately 350 skilled professionals. The integration of Rudischhauser is expected to enhance Gilde’s operational capabilities and broaden its portfolio of precision surgical instruments, particularly in the spine and orthopedic surgery sectors.
